Back to a Tuesday, but only just! Revue (the thing I make these newsletters with) was down earlier.

We are 2!

As of yesterday, Punchboard is two years old! In some ways it seems like much longer, but when I look back through my early reviews, it seems very recent. As a serial start-but-don't-finish person, I'm really pleased to still be doing this, and I have no intention of stopping.

I had a look back at my first reviews, and although I don't like the structure as much any more, the sentiment in them is true. In case you were wondering, the first review I ever posted on the site was for Nusfjord, a game I still love.

There are plenty mote reviews in the pipeline, but at the moment it's the school holidays here, so my spare time is monopolised by my Fortnite-obsessed son. That said, I'm still managing to play and write.

Review

Just the one review this week again, slacker that I am. It was for the latest T-game, Tabannusi, from Board&Dice. I'm a big fan of these games, so I was really keen to get this one played and my thoughts down in black and white.

Tabannusi: Builders of Ur Review - Punchboardpunchboard.co.uk The latest of the 'T' games from Board&Dice is here. Tabannusi offers dice-drafting and cunning strategy. Find out what makes it tick, now

Say hello to Ben

Over the last week, I met my second mentee for the first time. Ben is a game designer who's spent the best part of a decade working with Skybound Games. We're going to spend some time working on his networking and social media presence, and it was great to have a face-to-face chat over Discord. He's 8 hours behind me, on the West Coast of the US, but we'll still make it work.

If you want to say hello, remember to pop over to the Punchboard Discord server. We're friendly and won't bite.

See you next week folks,

Adam
