"Back once again for the Renegade Master,

D4 damage with the ill behaviour"

Except I rarely use a D4, and I doubt anyone is scared of my 'Natural 1' skills.

What are the haps, fellow kids?

Not too much actually, it's been a quiet week around Punchboard Towers. I got a couple of reviews finished and published, which is always nice to do. Working my way through my backlog is satisfying, like a game in itself.

Here's a sneaky peek at what my backlog looks like at the moment, and giving you an idea of what's coming up...

The top two in the Published column are two great games that I've been playing over the last few months.

First up, we had Moonrakers, a fantastic semi-coop deckbuilder set in space.

Moonrakers Review - Punchboardpunchboard.co.uk Moonrakers combines deck-building and negotiation in a sci-fi setting. It's a clever, exciting game - read on to find out what makes it tick

Next, just today in fact, I covered a cube rail game that I absolutely love. I got introduced to it at GridCon last year (thanks Krissie & Brett!), and ended up taking my copy to AireCon and the UKGE this year.

I've tried to do the game justice with my review, which is here:

Mini Express Review - Punchboardpunchboard.co.uk Mini Express is another cube rail game, with an addictive two-action gameplay loop. What makes it stand out from the crowd? Find out now.

Coming soon

I've got a couple of special pieces on the way, which I'm quite excited about. One is a in-depth piece on a new designer here in the UK, who self-published some games out of lockdown, and had them picked up by a very big name.

The other is a piece looking at the out-of-the-blue rise to prominence of a new distributor, Hachette Games UK, with an interview with their larger-than-life head honcho, Flavien.

And lots more games, of course!

Adam
