Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot

How are you all doing?

Hello everyone! How have you all done, coping with the recent heat? I'm one of those people who is always too warm, no matter the weather, so it's been extra-sweaty for me. Thankfully, I've got a deep paddling pool thing in the garden, which has seen a lot of use.

With plenty of time to sit around motionless, I got plenty of writing done, so here are some recent reviews for your perusal.

Under the microscope

First up was Klask, which is so much more than the sum of its parts. It's a cracking tabletop dexterity game, which is going to stay in my collection for good.

Then I had some more dexterity fun, if you can call it dexterity. Maybe that's a bit of a reach, but I love chucking dice. Cubitos is very similar in feeling to The Quacks of Quedlinburg, and a lot of fun.

Out and about

It's been so hot lately that I've not been able to take my dogs out walking. One of them - Jeff - is a one-year-old pug who is unaware that not running constantly is an option. He's been going stir crazy this last week, so with some cooler weather last night, we went exploring.

I'm very lucky to live in Cornwall, and its mining heritage is everywhere. We went for a wander around the Great Flat Lode, and here are a few chilled pictures to enjoy. Happy Tuesday everyone.
